At New Hope Community Church we take God's command to love our neighbors very seriously. We know that there are people in our community who are lonely or struggling to pay their bills or simply in need of a friend. While we are far from perfect and do not always know exactly the right thing to say or do, we seek to always do our best to be good neighbors. We do this through a community cookout the Sunday before Labor Day and other community events. In addition, we seek to help those in need of food through our food pantry which serves to meet the short term food needs of our neighbors. We also participate in SHARE Colorado which provides low cost groceries through a food co-op one Saturday a month. And, on the third Saturday of each month, many of our members and friends provide a hot meal to people living in the Capitol Hill District. |
